Model United Nation
The Model United Nations (MUN) is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically role-play delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. Uniting Minds, Creating Leaders’ is the theme of SIMUN. The conference seeks to highlight the importance of bringing in young talents’ opinions, thoughts, and experiences in such a way that they portray themselves as global citizens and aspire to be leaders to achieve sustainable development.
Performing Arts
Students are encouraged to develop the creative and aesthetic skills to help them to articulate themselves through their performance and visual media.
Our extensive Performing Arts Programme offers Vocal music, Instrumental music, Western Dance, Classical Dance, Drama.
Outbound Learning
Apart from the curriculum related field trips, once in a year the students embark on offshore trip to countries around the world as a part of their study cum fun trips. Students going on overseas trips have opportunity to explore and reflect on their learning. TIPS is partnered with the National Adventure and Leadership School (NALS) to integrate Leadership Camps into our curriculum, held at their facility in the Western Ghats.
Sports
Nurturing the Sportsmanship in every participant, at a growing age doubtlessly contributes in the making of an able and accountable citizen. At TIPS we provide a range of sporting pursuits to experience healthy and active living.
Students choose to learn Swimming, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Soccer and handful of indoor games as part of our extensive Sports Education Programme.
Celebrations – Continuous celebration of life in school!
Celebrating events and festivals in our school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. Such celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s traditions and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
Expos
Science and Mathematics Expos provide a dynamic platform to the students to exhibit their conceptual understanding and innovate. Students prepare various working models and share the experience with the parent community.
House/ Interschool Competitions
The School programme includes a comprehensive inter-house and inter-school sports schedule, a rich array of performing arts opportunities, school clubs, and a full complement of intramural and recreational activities. Students are encouraged to get involved in both local and global community-engagement initiatives, particularly those that promote multiculturalism. House members are responsible for planning and orchestrating numerous events, projects, and fundraisers from start to finish – skills that are sought after in future global citizens and leaders.

The Career Counseling team of TIPS, has been rendering consistent assistance in helping the children to fulfill their dreams through conducting career fairs for higher education in India and abroad.

Library

The School has well equipped computerized libraries, with over 10,000 volumes which include books, videos, DVDs, CDs, subscription various periodicals which are added to continually. The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedia, journals and newspapers and internet facilities to enrich their conceptual understanding. The Learning Centre, our library, with its reading spaces, mini theatre and resources is a very happening place!
Science Labs
Exclusive science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology provide requisite hands-on experience which is the heart of science teaching.
Science teachers design various demonstrations and experiments to ignite the curiosity and inculcate a scientific temperament in the students while engaging them in the scientific discussions.
This enables them to create their own experiments in the lab settings under the guidance of experts.
Classrooms
Classrooms are fully equipped with the state of art technology to empower children to research, engage and participate in the collaborative experiences. Flexible seating arrangement helps peer as well as independent learning. The smart board facilitates responsible research and latest knowledge.
Play areas
Play areas have a pivotal place in the life of the young ones. The Early and Primary Year students have a colorful and developmentally suited play area. The equipment is not only fun to use but also satisfies a child’s natural curiosity. The outdoor play area is designed for the little ones to enjoy and learn at the same time.
Robotics
Robotics is a multi-disciplinary field, which combines mechanical, and electronics engineering, computers, math and science. The students discover breakthrough technologies in Robotics.
The Indian Public School offers STEM through Robotics, a unique approach to learning integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. IT Labs
Wifi-enabled campus and computer laboratories with ample number of computers are designed to meet the students’ Information Technology needs. Trained and experienced teachers provide both theoretical and practical lessons for students to help them navigate a rapidly changing technology driven world.
Students are given individual laptops from grade 6th onwards to keep pace with the changing times and ensure learning beyond classrooms.
Art Zone
Art and Craft inspires the students to be ingenious and challenge the limits of their imagination. There are large spaces where children indulge in drawing, painting or other preferred ways of expression.
The idea behind each art and craft is to work on developing their feelings, their thinking, and their coordination skills. Children’s art work is often displayed around the school and during exhibitions.
